外企中buyer 和sourcing的区别？

本人Sourcing和buying都做过。楼主如果再遇上相同的提问，可以参考下面的回答。

Sourcing is respible to source new vendors and new products as per client's request and trend guide. Sourcing guy needs to negotiate the payment term with vendor and push vendor to follow up with the working procedure.
Sourcing guy needs to take care of the factory audit, he is not able to present a vendor without passing the Social Audit.
Sourcing guy needs to work with both buyer and vendor to get the final deal.
Sourcing guy is always requested to be sensitive of the trend in the market.

As a buyer, he needs to be respible to order's execution, on time delivery with qualified merchandise is his first priority. He needs to follow up with vendor on any quality issue, push vendor to follow the correct packing way (if there was special request). He also needs to watch vendor's production schedule time to time.
Sometime, buyer also needs to take care of the merchandise's allocation once they arrived and setup the shelf with attractive display.
He has to read the sales report to decide the potential repeat order.

buyer 只是负责跟进而已  供应商不配合就歇菜。。。
sourcing 有决定选择供应商的权利。

BUYER ：后续日常下单，维护供应商等；
SOURCING： 前期的供应商开发，料件的认证、价格，寻找合适的供应商。
